PETTINARIS 2G, ESTABLISHED MARCH 18, 2020
The year was 1989, Dominic Pettinari purchased a small town convenience shop with the hopes of serving the community with quality pizzas and subs while supporting his young family. Little did he know, that his small family run business would become a staple of the small town of Hilton, NY. Along the way, his customers became dear friends and his employees became family. Thirty years later, the same holds true, and he’s ready to pass the torch to his oldest son, Giuseppe.
Giuseppe grew up at the deli. He started stocking shelves at the age of 8. He worked there while attending RIT until he graduated and had a successful 12 year career in sales. In 2019 Dominic told his son that he was looking for a buyer for the store. Giuseppe couldn’t bare the thought of Dominic selling the family business that he grew up in. Giuseppe and his wife Katie jumped at the chance to buy the store, and added a meat market. The next generation of Pettinari’s ownership will be making many changes as Hilton and it’s surrounding areas continues to grow and change!
